Our 40,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility houses more than $30 million of characterization and fabrication equipment operated by dedicated experts adept at solving analytical problems. 
 

Nanofabrication and Imaging Facility

Provides high-resolution scanning electron and focused ion-beam microscopy for nanofabrication and material characterization. 

High-Resolution Analytical Facility

Performs atomic-resolution imaging and nanoscale composition analyses of materials. 

MicroAnalytical Facility

Executes quantitative elemental analyses of solid materials by electron microprobe. 

X-Ray Analytical Facility

Investigates the structure and composition of materials through the diffraction and fluorescence of x-rays. 

Surface Analytical Facility

Characterizes the chemistry and topography of the outermost few nanometers of materials. 

NMR Spectroscopy Facility

Determines the identity and structure of molecules in solution and solid-state materials. 
Lab Microfabrication and Characterization Facility
A shared user laboratory for the characterization, evaluation, and fabrication of microelectronic devices and photovoltaic cells.
