Master's Degree Program: Advanced Materials Analysis and Characterization

The Advanced Materials Analysis and Characterization (AMAC) program is a 15-month long curriculum combining two quarters of intensive on-campus coursework with an internship component, culminating in a Master of Science degree in chemistry.

This program provides graduate students with the analytical skills they will need for careers in industrial research laboratories and other technology companies. The program requires 54 total credits: 26 graded credits and 28 research internship credits. The Center for Advanced Materials Characterization in Oregon (CAMCOR) operates this hands-on program, providing students with technical training on cutting-edge, major research instrumentation used in a variety of fields.
