  • Maximum sample size is diameter or side 4 mm, thickness 1 to 2 mm, mass max 300 mg
  • Temperature range is -75°C to 400°C
  • Heating rates are between 0.1°C/min and 30°C/min
  • Crucibles of aluminium and copper
  • Indirect resistance heating
  • Inert (argon, helium, nitrogen) atmosphere

  • Studying thermal transitions of solids and liquids
  • Thermal characterization of polymers, such as glass transition temperature, crystallization temperature and metling point
