The Integrative Science Complex includes 28,000 sq ft of high performance underground laboratory space made possible in part by a $10 million private donation from Lorry I. Lokey, and $6 million from ONAMI (the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute). Overhead in the stairwell is a 5-ton crane used for equipment installation.
