The Microanalytical facility features the Cameca SX50 and Sx100 Electron Microprobes with high speed spectral imaging detectors for high accuracy elemental compositions of bulk and thin film materials. The FEI Quanta ESEM with CL (cathodo-luminescence) and EBSD (electron backscatter imaging) is for crystal orientation mapping.
