Campaign Oregon: A Campus Transformed
UO President Dave Frohnmayer announced that "Campaign Oregon: Transforming Lives" raised a record $853 million dollars. The campaign’s success represents how private giving and state and federal support can be used together to achieve greater results. A prime example is the Lorry I. Lokey Laboratories, which opened in spring 2008.

Business Oregon and ONAMI Matching Grant Program for Oregon Industry
Business Oregon and ONAMI have set up a matching grant program to assist Oregon businesses that are first time users of one of Oregon’s three state of the art Signature Research Facilities . This program is targeted at new users of the CAMCOR Facilities at the University of Oregon, as well as CEMN at Portland State University, and the Microproducts Breakthrough Institute at Oregon State University.
What:
- Matching funds for service charges incurred at CEMN, CAMCOR or MBI facilities
- 50-50 match
- Maximum grant $2000
Who:
- Oregon Industry (registered business)
- New users of the shared user facilities (or have not used the facilities in more than 2 years)
Why:
- ONAMI would like to increase industrial awareness and usage of our characterization and fabrication facilities.
- This program is intended introduce industry to facility capabilities and to provide financial assistance.
